These items were deployed to production on 12/08/2022.

Workflows & Contracts

New

Login: Allow both SSO and non-SSO logins for a single tenant. [287960]

We have enhanced our backend tooling and technologies to better meet the needs of customers who need to utilize SSO for most but not all users. This will enable the application to recognize regular, internal users as already authenticated, while external parties, such as vendors and providers, can use the application without participating in your organization’s SSO solution.

  • With this new feature enabled, users will see a screen prompting them to enter their username/email address.

  • Upon entering the email address, SSO users will be directed to their company login screen (unless already authenticated for this session).

  • Non-SSO users will be directed to the symplr Contract login screen.

For email notifications:

  • When a non-SSO user clicks on a link in an email notification, the system will send that user to authenticate.

  • When an SSO user clicks on a link in an email notification, the system will simply confirm that the user has been authenticated.

To get started with SSO configuration, have your symplr Contract Admin contact symplr.

Resolved

Notifications

For some customized email templates that have already been customized, the data issues will persist after the release. We will be working to correct them as soon as possible.

  • In email notifications with customized templates, links in those emails now function as expected. Previously, clicking the link in a customized email notification would return an error. [598849]

Reporting & Tables

  • Custom fields with a data type of integer or decimal can now be sorted by their numeric value within a table. Previously, sorting these custom fields placed them in order based on the first number in each field rather than the full numeric value. [578251]

  • In the Contracts tab in Reporting, saved reports now load as expected. Previously, attempting to load some saved reports would return an error. [555104]

Vendor & Provider Directories

  • If a Provider is listed as a Secondary Other Party in any workflow, then those workflows will be listed in the Workflow Activity tab in the provider record. Previously, workflows in which a Provider was listed as a Secondary Other Party failed to appear in the Workflow Activity tab. [509394]

Workflows & Worklist

  • When a user initiates a workflow on an existing contract, selecting an Action Type after selecting a Contract Number will work as expected.
Previously, attempting to do this returned an error. [579175]

  • In open review workflows, the Submit Review and Decline Review buttons now appear in the correct order. Previously, their positions were reversed. [579917]

  • In open review workflows, the Submit Review and Decline Review buttons now appear for phase participants with higher roles than their assigned role in the workflow (for example, a Reviewer who is also an Admin), even after saving a new version of the document.
Previously, after the the user saved a version of the document, the Submit Review and Decline Review buttons would be replaced with the Complete Phase button. [570230]

  • Exporting the Worklist table now honors applied filters.
Previously, the exported file included the entire worklist. [587485]

DocuSign

  • In Signatory Phases using DocuSign, when the the Phase Owner (when an in-turn, sequenced phase participant) accesses the workflow, all UI elements will appear as expected. Previously, the following elements were incorrect:

    • The Submit and Decline buttons were visible.

    • The Retract and Cancel options were missing.

    • The banner linking to DocuSign was missing. [560470]

  • In Signatory Phases using DocuSign, when the the Phase Owner is added to the participant sequence, the participant sequence will be updated when the Phase Owner reviews the document via DocuSign. Previously, the participant sequence in the workflow failed to update to reflect the Phase Owner’s DocuSign review. [577736]

  • In Signatory Phases using DocuSign, the Phase Manager: Digital Signature has been submitted email will be sent when all Signatories have completed their signatures.
Previously, this email failed to send. [589014]

  • In a single workflow with two Signatory Phases using DocuSign, the fully signed document will be returned in the second Signatory Phase.
Previously, the fully signed document failed to appear in in the second Signatory Phase, but allowed the workflow to proceed to activation. [564049]

Contract Library

  • In the Contract Library table, users can select a value in the Status dropdown within the Filter Table widget.
Previously, the Status dropdown was empty. [499976]

Administration

  • Admins can now remove participants from workflow templates with the Request Action Type. Previously, they were unable to remove them. [573927]

  • In the document template library, saved filters are consistently available. Previously, they were only visible after the user saved a new filter. [510026]

Time Tracking

Resolved

  • When a user rejects a timesheet, the sequenced Approvers are no longer removed from the timesheet. Previously, rejecting a timesheet also removed sequenced Approvers. [530868]

  • The correct phase information now shows on all timesheets.
Previously, timesheet updates made in the mobile app failed to appear in the web app. [531443]
