When an ad-hoc report exceeds the size limit, the following error message will appear [1236801]:
Export exceeds size limits. Please reduce number of records or create a scheduled report.

DocuSign

Admins and Phase Owners can reassign the active participant during a digital signature phase. [882079, 1024260]

This will allow greater flexibility to reassign signatories when an Other Party Signatory is not specified correctly at the start of a signature phase, saving time and effort for signatories and other executives.

  • Only Admins and Phase Owners/Mediators will be able to do this.

  • This feature only applies to signature phases using DocuSign.

  • Users will be able to import participants into a signature phase through user groups. Updating a signatory on a workflow will not affect the user groups.

  • The edit (pencil) icon will only appear for the active phase participant, regardless of their role.

  • Clicking the pencil icon will open a popup showing the participant sequence. They user will be able to reassign the active participant with one of the users listed under Participant Info.

  • If an Admin replaces an active participant who has already signed a document, they'll see a confirmation alert stating that the participant has already completed their turn.

  • The removed participant will receive a corrected email from DocuSign.

  • The newly assigned signatory will receive signatory in-app and email notifications.

  • The workflow history will record the following: Original assigned signatory, newly assigned signatory, user who performed the assignment, date/timestamp of reassignment

Decrease the lag between DocuSign signatures occurring in DocuSign and appearing in symplr Contract [979693]

This feature resolves the following issues:

  • Abandoning a DocuSign envelope caused users to get stuck in the signature phase.

    • Now when a user clicks Check Status, if the system identifies that the envelope was abandoned in DocuSign and not sent to the signatories, a popup will inform the user that the envelope has not been sent. If the user has sufficient permissions, there will be an option to retract.

  • The Check Status button failed to work if an Approver or External Party was in the participant sequence.

  • The Check Status button failed to work if a user declined an envelope.

Resolved

Workflows & Contracts

  • Attempting to view a document with certain special/unicode characters in the filename, such as en-dashes or diacritical marks, returned an error. [1160573]
This has been fixed; documents with special characters in the filename can be viewed.

Workflows & Worklist

  • A sequenced workflow participant was able to upload new documents and attachments to a workflow when it was not their turn. [1235506]
This has been fixed; sequenced workflow participants can only upload documents and attachments during their turn.

  • The application was unable to send a DocuSign envelope if one of the documents in the envelope had an overlong filename. [1115696]
This has been fixed; if the filename of a document uploaded to a workflow in the Add Document popup exceeds 180 characters (including the file extension. e.g. DOCX, PDF, etc.), then the Save button will be unavailable until the filename is shortened.

  • A phase mediator attempting to select a user group as phase owner returned an error. [1180354]
This has been fixed; phase mediators can select user groups as phase owners.

  • The Upload new version option was available to admins on cancelled workflows. [1177068]
This has been fixed; the Upload new version option is unavailable on cancelled workflows.

  • When a reassignment workflow was initiated, any attachments on the original workflow were updated with the date/timestamp of the reassignment workflow. [1174977]
This has been fixed; attachments retain the date/timestamps they were assigned upon upload.

  • When a workflow was initiated from a request workflow, any attachments on the request workflow were updated with the date/timestamp of the new workflow. [1174968]
This has been fixed; attachments retain the date/timestamps they were assigned upon upload.

  • When an abstraction workflow was initiated, any attachments on the contract were updated with the date/timestamp of the abstraction workflow. [1174335]
This has been fixed; attachments retain the date/timestamps they were assigned upon upload.

Reporting

  • When exporting a report, the sort order in the exported file differed from the sort order onscreen. [1173926]
This has been fixed; the sort order in onscreen and exported reports match.

Vendors & Providers

  • A visual defect caused lengthy contract location names to overlap in some cases, such as in the associated contracts table in a vendor or provider record. [924061]
This has been fixed; lengthy location names wrap instead of overlap.

  • Attempting to save a vendor or provider record after removing the Display Name failed to return an error. [1173449]
This has been fixed; attempting to save a vendor or provider record after removing the Display Name will return an error.

Contracts

  • When an amend/extend/renew workflow was activated on a contract (and the criteria for creating a critical date for an Evergreen renewal type have been met), the application failed to generate a new critical date on that contract. [1173698]
This has been fixed; when the criteria have been met, a new critical date will be generated.

Admin and Permissions

  • In the workflow template builder, a visual defect pushed the Document Source button (under Add Phase) out of alignment with the other phase buttons. [1173959]
This has been fixed; all phase buttons are top-aligned.

  • When exporting the organization tree, the column order of the exported file differed from the column order of the tree onscreen. [1159041]
This has been fixed; the column order of the onscreen and exported trees match.

  • In a multi-organization tenant, a user with admin permissions in one organization had phase owner/mediator permissions in a workflow where they were a reviewer in another organization. [1170690]
This has been fixed; organization-specific admin permissions are applied only within the correct organization.

Time Tracking

  • Updating the future approver or reporter in one managed scheduled timesheet associated with a single contract updated the future approver for all managed scheduled timesheets associated with that contract. [1234876, 1234899]
This has been fixed; updates to one managed scheduled timesheet no longer affect all others associated with a single contract.

  • A timesheet schedule with the “Automatically copy the timesheet schedule” option selected failed to autogenerate when the last timesheet period of the original timesheet schedule ended. [1183697]
This has been fixed; the timesheet schedule autogenerates when the option to copy is selected.

  • Attempting to open a timesheet as a newly assigned financial reviewer returned an error. [723027]
This has been fixed; financial reviewers can open timesheets.

Conflict Capture

  • Within the Add participant popup, the Assigned moderators dropdown list showed “0” as multiple options. [1175723]
This has been fixed; the dropdown loads as expected.
