The symplr Contract training team is excited to offer ongoing training courses available to our symplr Contract customers, at no additional cost. The purpose of these courses is to provide additional training to help our customers optimize their system and expand their skills using symplr Contract.

Phase Owner: Signature and Activation Phase

In this session we will focus on the role of a Phase Owner during the Signature and Activation phases. We will review the process of sending a contract for digital or ink signature during the Signature phase. At the Activation phase we will document final details, such as the Responsible Parties and Key Terms, prior to activating the executed contract into the Contract Library.

Phase Owner: Document Source and Negotiation Phase

In this session we will focus on the role of a Phase Owner during the Document Source and Negotiations phases. We will review the process of uploading the main agreement and associated documentation into your workflow during the Document Source phase. At the Negotiation phase we will review the process of sequencing Reviewers and Approvers, redlining the contract, accepting redlines, and more.

Negotiation Review Types: Sequential vs. Open Review

The purpose of this session is to outline the two available negotiation review types: Sequential and Open Review. Sequential Review is the default negotiation review type, which enables organizations to route contracts for review or approval sequentially through a defined list of participants. Organizations also have the option to utilize an Open Review type, which enables users to edit the document(s) without having to wait for their turn in a defined sequence.

Microsoft 365 Integration

Compliance Module: Conflict Capture – Campaigns and Workflow 

The purpose of this session is to walk through campaign configuration and associated workflows for the Conflict Capture compliance module, known as COIDS in the MediTract platform. Conflict Capture is a solution that automates the distribution, submission, and management of conflict-of-interest disclosure statements. In this session we will review the steps required to set up a campaign and will also demonstrate how Respondents and Resolution Managers complete their actions within the conflict-of-interest workflow.

Compliance Module: Gift Alert – Gift Management and Administrative Settings 

The purpose of this session is to review the general and Administrative features of the Gift Alert compliance module, known as Accumulator in the MediTract platform. Gift Alert enables organizations to track compensation and gifts for individual providers to help mitigate risk of non-compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. In this session, we will highlight the process of creating and managing gift entries, as well as administrative functionalities.

Negotiation Review Types: Sequential Review vs. Open Review

The purpose of this session is to walk through the phases of the timesheet workflow in the Time Tracking compliance module, known as TERMS in the MediTract platform. Time Tracking is a timesheet tracking solution and compliance application that allows organizations to onitor a provider’s time and effort to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the provider’s agreement. In this session we will review the Time Entry, Timesheet Approval, and Timesheet Financial Review phases of the timesheet workflow.

Compliance Module: Time Tracking – Timesheet Configuration & Administration 

The purpose of this session is to review the Administrator functionalities in the Time Tracking compliance module, known as TERMS in the MediTract platform. Time Tracking is a timesheet tracking solution and compliance application that allows organizations to monitor a provider’s time and effort to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the provider’s agreement. In this session we will review how to configure a provider’s timesheet schedule from their contract in the Contract Library and will also explore the Admin features available in the Timesheet Management page.

Phase Owner vs. Phase Mediator Role 

The purpose of this session is to review the Phase Owner and Phase Mediator roles within symplr Contract. Collectively known as Phase Managers, users with these roles are responsible for facilitating different phases within the contracting process, but Phase Mediators do not have all the same options as Phase Owners. In this session, we will outline the different options and experiences for users with these roles.

Compliance Module: Vendor Pulse Check (VPC)

In this session, we review Vendor Pulse Check (VPC), formerly known as Vendor Evaluation Forms (VEF) in MediTract. This add-on compliance module housed within symplr Contract enables organizations to easily evaluate vendor performance to comply with state and federal regulations and accrediting agencies. This session will review the process of initiating a survey campaign and completing the survey as a Respondent and Reviewer.
