Admins and Phase Owners can reassign the active participant during a digital signature phase. [882079, 1024260]
This will allow greater flexibility to reassign signatories when an Other Party Signatory is not specified correctly at the start of a signature phase, saving time and effort for signatories and other executives.
Only Admins and Phase Owners/Mediators will be able to do this.
This feature only applies to signature phases using DocuSign.
Users will be able to import participants into a signature phase through user groups. Updating a signatory on a workflow will not affect the user groups.
The edit (pencil) icon will only appear for the active phase participant, regardless of their role.
Clicking the pencil icon will open a popup showing the participant sequence. They user will be able to reassign the active participant with one of the users listed under Participant Info.
If an Admin replaces an active participant who has already signed a document, they'll see a confirmation alert stating that the participant has already completed their turn.
The removed participant will receive a corrected email from DocuSign.
The newly assigned signatory will receive signatory in-app and email notifications.
The workflow history will record the following: Original assigned signatory, newly assigned signatory, user who performed the assignment, date/timestamp of reassignment
Decrease the lag between DocuSign signatures occurring in DocuSign and appearing in symplr Contract [979693]
This feature resolves the following issues:
Abandoning a DocuSign envelope caused users to get stuck in the signature phase.
Now when a user clicks Check Status, if the system identifies that the envelope was abandoned in DocuSign and not sent to the signatories, a popup will inform the user that the envelope has not been sent. If the user has sufficient permissions, there will be an option to retract.
The Check Status button failed to work if an Approver or External Party was in the participant sequence.
The Check Status button failed to work if a user declined an envelope.
