Character Limits in Fields

  • Free text fields (including tooltips) have a limit of 4096 characters.

  • Numeric fields have a limit of 15 characters.

  • Integers are limited to a range of -2147483648 to 2147483647

  • Decimals are limited to a range of ±1.79769313486231570E+308

  • If the filename of a document or attachment is longer than 100* characters, then the filename will be truncated upon download.

    • This will not affect how filenames are displayed in the UI.

    • We recommend that you keep filenames under 100 characters.

    • *If the filename includes special characters, then the number of available characters will be fewer than 100.

  • The contract description field has a limit of 280 characters.
