Assets

Why do this?

Managing your assets in symplr Contract allows your organization to associate assets with a particular contract.

An Admin for your organization can ask their symplr Contract representative to toggle OFF the Assets tab in the Contract Library, so the tab will not be visible in the UI.


Who can do this?

  • Admins, Editors, and Contract Moderators can see the Assets tab.

  • Admins and Editors can add, edit, and delete assets.


Where can you do this?

Assets can be viewed and managed under the Assets tab on the contract summary page.


How to Add an Asset

  • In the contract summary page, click on the Assets tab.

  • Click Add New Asset.

  • In the Add New Asset modal, enter the item information.

  • If applicable, add an attachment and/or contact information.

  • When finished, click Save.
    OR
    To close without saving your changes, click Cancel or ✖.

The Save button will only be available once all required fields have been populated.


How to Edit an Asset

  • Click on the asset.

  • In the Asset Information modal, click Edit.

  • Edit as needed.

  • When finished, click Save.
    OR
    To close without saving your changes, click Cancel or ✖.


How to Delete an Asset

  • Click on the asset.

  • In the Asset Information modal, click Edit.

  • Click Delete
    OR
    To close without deleting the asset, click Cancel or ✖.
