Access & Copy Approved Language

Why do this?

Approved language helps organizations maintain language consistency. Admins manage approved language, then in-turn phase participants can add boilerplate clauses to contracts and documents.


Who can do this?

  • Admin

  • Current Phase Owner

  • Workflow Moderator

  • In-turn Reviewer

  • In-turn Approver

  • In-turn Signatory

  • Requestor

  • Current Phase Mediator


When can you do this?

Approved language can be accessed and copied in any phase of an active workflow except the Initiation Phase.


Where can you do this?

You can access and copy approved language under Approved Language in the workflow accordion.


How to Access and Copy Approved Language

  • In the bottom right corner of the workflow, click Approved Language to expand the list of available clauses.

The clauses you’ll see are based on the contract type and location.

  • To see the text of a clause, click the clause name.

  • To copy the clause text, click Copy (Off) to Copy (On) mode.

  • Click anywhere in the clause text to copy it to your clipboard.

  • To paste the text, use the Ctrl (Command for Mac users) + V command, or right-click, then select Paste.
