What is it?
Compliance questions allow an organization to, essentially, create a compliance checklist for a contract.
The standard compliance questions are:
Does the vendor agree to accreditation standards?
Does the contract contain anti-kickback language?
Does this contract contain the BAA language?
Does this contract require a BAA (Business Associate Agreement)?
Does this vendor provide clinical services to our patients?
Does the contract comply with all STARK II/III requirements?
Does this contract require or contain a COI?
Has the Vendor been excluded or debarred from any federally-funded program?
Has the appropriate language/attachment for the exclusion been included?
Is this contract with a physician or physician group?
Is a fair market valuation attached?
Compliance tab questions and answers are not reportable. However, compliance questions that are custom fields are reportable.
